it makes absolutely no sense for storm ele to be 2.5min blizzard should make it two minutes cd to line up with every 2 storm keepers

Storm and Fire elemental share the same cooldown. There are ways for you to reduce the cooldown of both elementals, two separate legendaries (one covenant dependent) and a talent you can pick (though some guides would suggest its not ideal in the grand scheme).
Unfortunately the community asked for glyphs to be over turned and any utility associated with them to be taken away and made almost purely cosmetic (I agree glyphs were an issue, but I personally liked the utility options that they had).
you can never have warlock 3minutes cooldown reduced to 2minutes when you cant lower the 2.5 into 2cd which will help solve alot of things for an elemental shaman both storm and fire. you cant pick the talent to reduce elemental nor covenant because its really a bad talent so i really hope they change fire/storm elemental to 2minute because 2.5 is very awkward in both raid and dungeons.
Do not believe they will change it, without changing its power in some way. To be frank prefer seeing it 2.5min instead of let’s say 3 mins.

because it’s performance is really bad especially fire elemental compared to any 2min cooldown or any 3minutes cooldown in this game.
There are plenty of cds that are actually worse than fire elemental (and especially storm elemental that is quite good even vs 3 minute cds).
Although to be fair, ele could use a small buff to st, i dont think they can buff the elementals, since that would push them over the edge in aoe.
