Storm Elemental Macro not working

Hi there,
I try to use the following macro:

  • #showtooltip
  • /cast Fire Elemental
  • /cast Storm Elemental
  • /cast Call Lightning
  • /cast [talent:6/2] Eye of the Storm
  • /cast [talent:6/2] Meteor

However, after I summon my Storm Elemental, after pressing the macro again he uses Eye of the Storm first instead of Call Lightning, making the macro kinda useless. I found the macro posted like this on multiple websites, why doesn’t it work for me?

Mine worked fine, but lately it seems really off, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt, no idea why.

Your problem is that you doubletap it too fast. Call of Lightning is a 2.5s cast for the elemental.

I use tellmewhen and set it to light up the icon when eye of the storm is ready to cast.

I thought that too, but whats happening is the following:

  • I press macro once, Storm Ele is summoned
  • When I do nothing now, the Storm Ele uses his normal attack
  • I press macro the second time, Storm Ele channels Eye of the Storm and completely ignores Call Lightning

You need to give the storm elemental time. Sometimes he is not always in range.

I use the exact same macro, and its working fine. You guys are not giving it time to work. You are NOT supposed to spam it. Call Lightning takes 3 seconds for the pet to cast. I have a tell me when icon that lights up when the cast has gone off.

Also, dont use it on the same target you are directly attacking when you have it cast eye of the storm. If the target dies before the channel is over, the rest of eye of the storm is wasted.
