Storm Sigils, how?

How am I supposed to get Storm Sigils for my alts now? The quests have been removed where you turn in Primal Cores to be rewarded with Storm Sigils. And you still need them to upgrade the gear to get the Forbidden Reach transmogs. The droprate from rares in Forbidden Reach is really low. So what shall I do?

This is probably the only way to get 'em. :frowning:

Okey, thats really sad, becasue you still need many of them to upgrade just one piece of gear from blue to epic 385.

Honestly? You’ll have an easier time farming rares and hoping for the BoA tokens that grants 385 pieces. I have tons of 'em.

Why do you care though? Zaralek Caverns activities (elite WQs, researchers under fire, rares + upgrades, Fyrakk’s fury event) grant 402 - 424 ilvl gear easily, which is better than 395.

If you care about transmog, you’ll be able to convert these pieces into VOTI tier for free anyways.

Say what now?!

Shiet, and I just vendored that.

Revival Catalyst Will Be Enabled for Dragonflight Season 2 on June 13 (NA) / June 14 (EU) - Wowhead News

We’re also working to make it possible for players to convert Season 1 items for transmog purposes. This functionality, however, will be disabled for a few weeks as the Catalyst will be unavailable for a time, starting when Season 1 ends. Our goal is that players who are trying to use Season 1-level gear to get their Season 1 transmog set will only need an appropriate piece to convert. The cost will be free and players would not need to accumulate any kind of charges.

Amg, I am so happy with that.

I really want some of the Vault sets (I didnt start DF until a few weeks before new patch). I’m even pleased with the LFR colorations.

Thats great, but how exactly does this work? How do we convert gear?

You go to the catalyst machine once it opens.

I think it’s around Tyrhold?

I don’t know since nothing apart from that has been said. But if it’s logical it’s gonna be like this:

DF S2 charges won’t affect the S1 transmogs, meaning you can transform unlimited amount of items.

Convertion ilvls should look something like this (I may be wrong, because I don’t remember all ilvl tresholds and I cba finding it):

  • 376 - 389 ilvl gear will convert to LFR set
  • 389 - 398 ilvl gear will convert to normal set
  • 398 - 411 ilvl gear will convert to heroic set
  • 411 - 421 ilvl gear will convert to mythic set.

That’s just speculation though, so don’t take it for granted.

I don’t know if they’re truly removed but forbidden reach is the way to go. Rares as well as chests have a chance for both BoA tokens and storm sigils. So you just farm BoA tokens until you have enough so that you fill in the blanks with the vendor and whatever storm sigils you have.
