Hey. Does anybody know if Stormherald (last rank of BS weapon) will be locked behind a patch? Or can you in theory get it from day one (in theory) if you had all the materials? Cheers
Dude. Stormherald was one of the best weps for arms in TBC. It had insane rng stunproxx, but u need bs to craft it. Period.

Storm Herald craft requires Nether Vortices, iirc they only drop in T5 raids so that makes it locked to second phase of tbcc. You could theoretically craft Deep Thunder, it’s main component, from day one, but seeing as it requires 8 Primal Nethers (one per heroic dungeon), I don’t think it is physically possible to get revered with enough factions to run 8 heroics in first 24 hours. There will be people with it week one tho, of that I have no doubt.

theres no chance you’ll get enough nether vortex’s day 1 to get it (unless they release in a BOE state) however, seeing we’re releasing in the later patches of TBC, its quite possible they’ll be BOE. which would make it possible but still unlikely.
I wouldnt bet my money on it, but i wouldnt be surprised if it happens.
Nope. Need Tier 5 raids for the nether vortex.
