In this thread, please post if you played WoW on the Alliance side of Stormscale in 2004-2006.

For best results, post what you remember about yourself and your friends you used to play with:

• Your character’s name, race and class.
• The name of your original guild on this realm.
• The character names of other players you’re hoping to reconnect with.

Players I most often played with during this era were Whristler, Lyrion, Warpgun, Evenger, Panjalay, Xcalibur, Garcius, Quadpower, Ed, Dothan, Jindujun, Lolipop/Flameshock, Zyzo, Trixy, Blab, and many more.

Hi.

Many might not believe this unless you started at stormscale day 1 when WoW was released.
But its me and my guild Nolby Pride who started the Stormscale project months before launch on mIRC.
Along with other very prominent guilds n clans from Dark Age of Camelot, diablo 2, counter strike, like Warders of the 7th sigil, War LegendZ (Curse on horde stormscale) ane many others.
We had around 30 guilds signed up on mIRC , about 1000 people waiting for my announcement call on which server on the list that everyone should create a character on.
Since there was no pre launch list of servers, I had to pick one the moment WoW was launched.
Only one problem… i couldnt get into the loginserver as it was under zerg attack from hundreds of thousands of people.
After a few minutes i got a screenshot from one of our members, and i picked Stormscale from the serverlist as it sounded attractive, and thats where the story of Stormscale started.
Since us, and WaR LegendZ (curse gaming) were very famous from dark age of camelot it attracted an insane amount of players to join Horde on SS and the server was incredibly unbalanced horde/alliance ratio wise.
I do remember me and NeT (owner of Curse-Gaming and then guild and raidleader of Curse co-raiding Onyxia and MC with the strongest 20 players from each guild and being the first in europe to kill Lucifron, Magmadar and Onyxia.

We didnt even kill ragnaros and I quit playing after a few months.

And to not forget a special friend that never gotten to play the actual game, but was immortalized into an NPC in darnassus by Blizzard. Mitchel (Crildor), us alphagamers never forget, always remember ! You’re still with us brother !

Hi! I don’t recall us being close mates but I played in guilds such as Lux Aterna and Lobsters. I knew people such as Dreadina, Dep, Aeswind, Kylun and more. So we might have moved in similar circles :slight_smile:
