I killed it yesterday I think with a good group that could stack for Sea Swell and good clear and add focus. We got to a point where boss was around 60 energy when it got killed.
I agree that Jaina is easier, but maybe that’s because her mechanics are more forgiving.
The tuning on stormwall is pretty tight especially for a normal mode boss and its much harder then jaina. The teleporting adds are pretty strange not sure if that is a bug or intended.
Tho a key thing is killing both the boat adds at the same time if one dies when the other is at like 20% hp.
The boss is going to have like 60ish energy and your going to have a bad day unless you have like god like dps.
I am pretty sure they spawned exactly where you dropped it on the first day of release as I remember seeing it. Then they started having the mind of their own the very next day.
I would say it is either a bug or the so-called “hot-fix” that everyone has been talking about.
Bug with teleporting add makes this boss harder than it should be. Other than that, key thing is to properly apply tank debuffs to add. You should be able to kill the boss, it’s possible even with teleporting add, but it’s definitely not “normal” difficulty.
for heroic yes, for normal, nope just becuse it dropps 385 loot, doesnt meen it should be overtuned as it is now.
teleporting adds, boss has to much healt for normal, or adds have to much healt, depends on how you look at it. a boss that dropp 385 gear, should be tuned for people are arround 375 gear or so, aka heroic uldir gear, for the moment this is not the case at all.
seeing guilds with 3 or 4 kills on heroic, and 7/9 normal, you se there is a problem.
People were just not doing the mechanics right. Today, I did it in a pug with my alt tank again. We started P2 with boss having 20% energy (killed both the mini bosses at the same time and no crossing!). Then we held the energy at about 40-ish at 18% and nuked the boss down while ignoring the adds.
This time we popped heroism after the first add was killed when everyone had their cds back.
