It didn’t get removed, the new forums were not built by Blizzard but are a modified version of Discourse, and they don’t have an Ignore function. It just got lost in the transfer.

The Transfer must have been the final battle.
For quite some time the ignore function was a very easy way to sniff out alts, because every character of the account would be ignored. That may have something to do with it.
I always thought that you had to put every alt on your ignore list separately.
But anyway, finding alts now is way harder. You have to know what you’re looking for, because absolutely no data carries over from one character to another. You also had the shared post history for alts on the old forums.
Speaking of which, it’s pretty dumb that we lose our entire post history if we switch to an alt now. We even lose access to our post history of you change the name of realm of a char.

I don’t know if they ever changed it, I didn’t use the function very much, but I can say that it worked for all characters at the point when I tested it.
Yeah, that’s no fun. They really have to work on that…

Fun fact: It was Varian who first used the B word when referring to Halforcen, not Garrosh with Sylvanas.
Interesting how some people completely ignore that and think that Garrosh is the only one who ever used that word, making him a “badass”, when Varian had already used it eons before.

Gotta agree with Arctur - she acted moronic there. If she didn’t made a monologue and actually followed her plan then Arthas would never get out.
