General forum? Do I want to take a look?
And interesting… Mechagon will be smaller than Nazjatar, but bigger than timeless isle… That’s bigger than I expected.

Not unless you want to see another topic about Blood Elves and them joining the Horde.
It will? Wonder how big Nazjarar will be then… And I wonder if it’ll actually feel bigger than the timeless isle.
I think it will feel quite large, until we have unlocked flying.
Did they confirm we can fly there? I know they did for Nazjatar. But what about Gnomeland?
I feel this question needs some exploration. I should make a thread. Or maybe one about playable high elves…
Twelve years… twelve years of threads. We don’t need the one destroying the general forum right now (This one even veered off into non-canon RPG lore!), let alone a new one.
Maybe a “Nightborne should be Alliance/Neutral” thread then?
High Elf fanatics are toxic.
The RPG book was so atrocious that they had the proud Daelin Proudmoore mingle with elven scum and produce an Half-Elf abomination. I am glad that Tandred Proudmoore was made canon, but Finnall Goldensword can rot in the abyss of non-canon characters.
That’s actually a good question. I can’t remember for sure. I kinda hope we’ll remain on our feet in Mechagon for a while, it does have its charm not being able to fly.
It isn’t nice to speak about your sister like that, Great Loa.
While I was looking at the monster’s page on Wowpedia, I stumbled upon an interesting interview with Metzen:
“…you know, like, Admiral Proudmoore’s got some love child elf thing, I’m like what in the wo-, like, he’s lawful good, he’s not going to cheat on his wife, you know, I just- like ideas [indistinct] I’m like COME ON!”
I mean, I always knew that Daelin was a lawful good character who did nothing wrong, but I’m glad that Metzen agreed with me.
This is a Metzen confirmation from 2011. Daelin did nothing wrong!
Aka. More confirmation, all Blizzard writers are alliance biased without any shade of a doubt. Glad we solved this debate for good.
Alliance bias everywhereeeeeee!
You’re welcome.
Maybe a “Nightborne should be Alliance/Neutral” thread then?
Let’s have another Baine thread instead.
And why would you denigrate that? Just because Metzen no longer works for Blizzard doesn’t mean that his words are no longer valid.
What’s even more interesting, is that Blizzard rarely ever says if a character is good or bad. In Sylvanas’ case, I believe that Ion said that she is not evil, and that’s one of the very few cases in which the writers actually bluntly tell what moral alignment a character has. But Daelin might be the ONLY CHARACTER IN THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE who has been stated to be lawful good by the Vice President of Story and Franchise Development himself.
After all, Metzen is absolutely right. Daelin was a loving husband, he would never cheat on his beautiful wife Katherine, let alone with some inhuman peasant scum.
And why would you denigrate that?
I am not, oh great loa.
It’s as if Thrall himself aknowledged that Daelin was lawful good. What a man, what a figure. Beloved by his people, respected by his mortal enemy. Daelin truly was a blessing. He was taken from us way too early. Tide to tide, ashes to ashes, sea to sea. He will be avenged.
