I genuinely do try to be helpful to people and I’m sorry for my reaction to you too. It wasn’t a malicious suggestion on my part to the OP. Many don’t like interacting with others. I used to be one of them, so I do sympathise.
Em… No?
Said elf has been consistently helping people out, be it tongue in cheek or not, for years now. If people can’t look past the, inaccurate and just incorrect, view of mvp = some form of blizzard employee, which is honestly starting to progress past laughable, and just is sad now.
Unless you’re trying imply his/her/it’s agenda, as you put it, is to get more sales for cdrekt and the witcher, in which case, I’ll honestly be at a loss for words. That said, witcher is a decent game.
Okay, I appreciate the passionate responses, but maybe let’s all dial it down a bit. I don’t think personal attacks are helping anyone here.
Method’s kill videos are cool, usually no sound, cool music that gets lowered whenever boss dialogue happens, I quite enjoy them and they feel pretty epic.
Send the player with 19 bots. It wouldn’t even diverge from the LFR experience.
Any idea if he’s done Battle of Dazar’alor yet? I tried looking on YouTube, but all I saw was a minute-long announcement about some mythic race.
I think they only post mythic videos which sometimes have extra lore in them in the form of secret bosses or new mythic only phases so ur going to have to wait until they finish mythic
With all the other things that WoW needs I just see that as a waste of money.
It also doesn’t have to be method only, many guilds post their own edited version in their own styles, you can look for your preferred style and just follow the guild, probably top guilds.
Here’s one of my favorite raid kill videos to demonstrate, hope I helped
yeah the ff community is amazing, with or without the fc’s, but it is progressively getting worse in the pug department (although maybe 20% of bad pugs when in wow its like 99.999999% XD) most people are lovely and helpful, the community spirit really is gobsmacking. I’m subbed atm but nothings holding my interest until shadowbringers will be back for that
I have a better idea, make “story” crap optional, altogether.
I rather just skip it all.
I don’t think wow is for you…
What you have suggested in your post is kinda there in final fantasy xiv but not in wow.
They have a something called “The Unending Journey” where you can rewatch cutscenes. I suggest you look in to final fantasy than wow. If you want…
Edit: At present I am and plan to be a long time sub/player for final fantasy xiv. While, for wow, I hope it goes free to play for way things are going, its looking more less appealing to newer audiences and the old ones as well, in terms of graphics, gameplay, lore and Blizzard’s execution.
Why even play a MMO then?
Yeah I have to concur - there’s plenty of good options for singleplayer gaming out there - WoW is by the nature of the beast a multiplayer game. The options available for solo players are already enough.
If one wants a singleplayer based fantasy RPG there’s a lot to choose from out there, my suggestion would be to start on Dragon Age.
I think this is a great idea and should be extended to other games and sports.
I like to play football but don’t want to be in a team so the football authorities should introduce ‘story’ games so I can solo them without having to go through all the bother of joining a team and doing that training stuff.
/sarcasmoff
I think it’s a great idea tbh, I loved that Rift had 2 player content so me and the gf could just have fun doing it on our own as neither of us is brilliant at gaming so we saw stuff without standing in fire pissing people off or because our DPS wasn’t high enough etc.
It’s one of the reasons I’m right on the edge of unsubscribing again. Having got all reps to exalted to open kul tirans I then find out I have to do 3 dungeons and then a mythic to open the characters and to see the storyline. It’s just a crappy way of Blizzard trying to get more people running dungeons. So yeah basically I’m missing out on the storylines and new races. Not everyone wants to raid or do dungeons with strangers, they do however want to experience the storylines, why is that so hard for people to understand?
watch youtube video in full screen, theres your solo content
I think it would be great idea too, having seen it working so well in so many other mmorpgs. I don’t see it as something that makes people do less normal dungeons but as addition on top of it. People who otherwise would not do dungeon, either at all OR not at that moment, could use it for a run trough. For example when you just want to go with a friend or when you don’t have time to queue or if you had such a day you just feel like doing something on your own not in a group - you pop trough story mode. And when you want to do a “proper dungeon group experience” you do normal mode.
I don’t know of any other MMO’s that have a story mode.
Only other MMO that I can think of where you can ‘solo’ group content is DDO, where you can hire henchmen to fill out the group places, it’s a system that works pretty well but it does slightly diminish the feeling of accomplishment for me knowing that I’ve done something that should really have been done as a proper group.
How about to watch the FA Cup Final you had to group up with ten strangers and win a match. These strangers would likely hurl abuse at you every time you kicked the ball and would red card you if they didn’t like the boot you were wearing, meaning you had to play another match with a different ten strangers.
