Story of dragonflight so far

Just imagine, - you slayed monsters, gods, eldritch abomination, undeads, and countless horrors, and then you come back from the literal afterlife, just so a fatаss overgrow scaly
blue chicken with comically tiny hands, would call you a “petty mortal”. Kekw. After all previous expansions, main thread if this one - for the first time ever - feels like beneath Champions of Azeroth.

Sums the antagonist up pretty well

Elementals and Dragons were always gonna be a bit of an uphill battle, after Cataclysm, where we permakilled Ragnaros, Alakir, Deathwing and Moruzond. But i agree that the past 3 expansions are doing this no favors, in terms of scale.

Just another example of the downsides of Blizz diving too deep and too greedily into the depths of cosmic :ox::poop:

I am not impressed by Dragonflight so far. Feels like a huge let down. Especially after we saved the universe from a frkkn death god. Blizzad needs to step up their game. Nobody is frightened by some Proto dragon.

I couldn’t care less about those guys. The stories they feature in are pretty crappy.

yeah honestly its based
everyone’s talking about BUT WE USED TO BEAT GODS
my friend do you want the next raid tier to look like this?:

Dragonflight actually feels like it belongs in warcraft imo, shadowlands felt like it belonged to a different story entirely.

Dragonflight is bad. Nobody cares about dragons. The next logical step would be to defeat the void lords.

The void lords have never been able to manifest in reality so technically without the old gods here they are a non issue unless their lore gets expanded on.
Twilight hammer (void worshippers still present on azeroth) are just some funny antagonists.
The anime delinquents with funny walks.
Also subjective; I like dragons a lot more and I wouldn’t have had faith in a cool representation of the void lords after shadowlands.

Dragons can die for all I care. I want to get to Shadowlands again and bail out Sylvanas and Kael’thas so they can join the Horde once more.

Why are you even talking to a forum troll?

The story is interesting.

For people who don’t want to read you have a big, fat, uncomplicated BBEG they can look forward to kill.
And for people who do read quest texts the story is quite nuanced for high fantasy as in a sense the primalists are correct as the titans are not really beloved and used coercion and mind control to ensure the loyality of the dragon flights. So the primalists from their point of view are fighting for their freedom.
And that story is repeated with the dracthyr story and how Deathwing was basically mind controlling them to and then locked them away once he lost this ability. And the dracthyr now have come to terms with that their beloved leader was in reality a uncaring overlord who only controlled them to love him. Just like the titans did with the aspects.

Eyo watch out Im MUROZOND, end-game BOSS! I have the full power of freezing the fabric of time for 5 SECONDS.

What can we peasant god-slayers do against such menace? Should we release and make a deal with Sargeras so he can slay this 30 Level End-Time Dungeon Boss for us?
