Strange Overlay covering my Action Bar

I just had this weird Overlay covering a chunk of my Action Bar and I couldn’t click my mount to fly off.
I was in Ohanrahan Plains and it showed where the Aylang camp was, It was like a version of the main map showing where quests were or something.

I’ve never seen this before. Is this a game feature or an AddOn? I installed TomTom recently as the co-ords on it have a customisable font and background colour so makes it a lot easier to read (the old one I had was light text invisable against the sky).

I was able to close this by clicking an X in the corner. Not sure how I turned it on, some shortcut key I used by chance I assume.

Just wondering what it is and how long it’s been around.

Might be the zone map, you call it up by hitting SHIFT+M. Though if it was showing quests that might be from an add on. Looking at mine it shows dungeons and flight points.

Never knew that existed, how long has this been a thing? I’ve only been playing since 2005 so not that long…

Not something I’d ever use myself, it’s too wee and faint, but good to know it’s there and what it is.

It’s always been there :slight_smile:
Right click on the tab that says ‘zone map’ and you can unlock it to move it, and adjust the opacity.
I used to find it useful for flying around the zone without having half the screen covered by the big map, but I admit I’d forgotten about it.
