So it is not that we had a whole week of forum posts about tanks being immortal and everyone knew it?

Indeed, you see it all the time in “people” that believe in flat earth …

It isn’t, because that doesn’t fit his pre selected conclusion.

This makes me want to hunt down any good shadow priest livestreamers and disable their computers

and you think now with this change tanks are less immortal ? i mean seriously how much do you know about tanking ? i wanna know , i really do i want you to break down things for me and explain very specifically what this change will do regarding the tanks being so strong .

That was not what this topic was about, was it?

I posted this already yesterday in the corresponding topic.

Not sure why you try to switch to offending.

which leads exactly to the point im trying to make . they dont make changes base of reliable information and logical decision making , they make changes like this out of raw stupidity or something they saw on some big streamer like asmon . thx for proving the point automatically

there are no reliable informations btw , the Beta closed months ago , theere havent been any late game content for the past two weeks beside m0s which are not a content you make change base of , so this whole idea of them making changes base of data is just bull crap . they have no data to nerf tanks for 10 % beside what they saw on asmongold stream .

the only thing this 10 % change does is of setting the balance between tanks , and you wont even feel it untill very very late endgame content such as +26 keys or final 2 mythic bosses

-white noise-

thanks Karen , will keep that in mind

More sounds this topic is nonsense. The answer on the “impact of streamers” is completely 0. You just made your conclusion yourself. Even when blizz made this change just because of asmon (which they did not).

And you believe that the devs watched Asmons stream & thought “Damn, we’d better nerf tanks because of what this guys doing”
I think you’re the one that doesn’t have a clue how things work in the game.

The devs have thousands of Mythic dungeon runs worth of data, over the past two weeks to decide what does & what doesn’t need nerfing.

Take for example the changes they made this week to the raid, which isn’t even out yet. They’ve seen how players are performing & decided to buff the end boss based on this performance.

i love people who believe in words like this : COINCIDENTAL - COINCIDENCE - ACCIDENT yea you keep telling your self that .

If you remember it so well, while he was doing his Tierlist he did 2 things:

  • Constantly remembering everyone that those Tier List Does reflect their experience on Beta, but don’t represent the reality of what’s going to be the Meta, once balance is done and more data will be collected. So it’s to be taken with a grain of salt.
  • He invited specs expert speak about strength and weaknesses of their spec, based on their Beta experience. Those are World fist raiders, Class discords experts or even MM+ 0.5% best players. They know their stuff.

You talk about MW nerf, but if you would have seen how much they were performing in raids, it was insane, MW were doing 20-25% more HPS than the other Healers, including Druids. This nerfs was deserved. Problem is, nerfing MW in Raid made them far worse in MM+.

I dont follow Shaman stuff, but i know they were doing insane damage, far more than actual DH. Maybe he putted a spotlight to it, but as it was, there was no reason to not play a full group of ENH+Tank in dungeon.

I agree that the devs seem to have knee jerk reactions to things they see streamers do.

I haven’t been paying attention to these specific cases, but I do recall the massive uproar ahead of 9.3 when the feral druid tier set received massive nerfs immediately after psybear’s stream of a heavily buffed feral doing very high dps on a pull that wouldn’t have been possible outside of the PTR.

I do think the devs have a tendency to say ‘looks bad, nerf’ rather than taking the time to examine what’s actually going on before making any decision. Meanwhile, specs that need buffs are left to languish at the bottom of the performance tables because there are no dramatic streamer clips to send the devs into a panic.

No no, it wasn’t about Asmon, it was about my friend that also solo’d packs, we’ve been over this, i provided irrefutable evidence for this.

Do you also suffer from the flerf reset?

Because he is probably not the only one to solo packs, or even finish off bosses with the team dead. They have the data from every single Mythic run by every single group & can see when, where & why players died.
The fact that it was announced after Asmons stream is clearly coincidental.

I mean yeh you are definately right… for sure…mhmmm…
You do realise that you are just spouting unsupported BS right? Im sure that Blizz always throwaway all the data from their systems and instead go straight to some streaming numpty and use his garbage opinion to make changes.
EVERY PERSON i have spoken to in game since the DF launch has said that tanks are massively overpowered now and my own (pocket healer) has told me that my warrior doesnt need any healing in an M0 at all.
This is obviously not right even at this early stage of the launch. We dont overgear the content at the moment so all the available data is relevant.
If we were using 421 gear to do M0 sure, but we are in leveling gear and M0 gear so the data is relevant.
Your view however is based on … what???

are you stupid ? they have years of data and every single m+ run , you have to be so dumb to think that psybearslat had to do anything with that nerf ! these guys are gods of video game developments they knew for sure that feral was gonna pop that season ! ( even prior to that nerf they were bottom tier in both m+ and raid ) . but listen dont be stupid ok ! blizzard knows they have data and they act upon data

Just quoting you to illustrate the contradiction in what you said (emphasis mine).
