Looking for any help to get twitch ready for downloading of addons for classic. I have told it to scan for installed games that does not work, Tried manually to lead it to the classic folder, no joy there either. So if anybody out there in the EU can give me a hand to get it ready, would appreciate the assistance. Please note I have a learning disorder, so patience would be needed. Thanks for reading will check this thread regularly. As an added note I have no issues at all with retail, and addons.

It probably doesn’t support Classic yet. While it is based on the modern API it will need addons to support Classic as there will be some differences.
The whole twitch client is buggy as hell. It seems to struggle recognising different versions of the game (ptr/retail/vanilla). It has been this way ever since Blizz changed its folder structure and incorporated the same client for both retail and ptr.
I emailed them with a list of bugs i had found and they replied “We are currently working on fixes for these issues”.
That was two months ago…
There are Classic addons on twitch/curse but the client doesn’t detect what version of the game you point to so it will downlaod just newest version for 8.2.5. You have to manualy downlaod addons for Classic. Just like in the olden days. Maybe twitch also wants to recreate authetinc vanilla experience by having you downlaod and unzip addons manualy.
I used this and put them in manually.
It’s a slow as hell piece of s*** client. Everything i do takes minutes for things to show up, every single click. Looking for a certain type of addon? Oh ur in for a long long search. Plus it’s the only registration in all my years on internet that has got my account details (Twitch only) compromised which they then denied for months and still haven’t completely admitted.
Been looking for an alternative for this piece of crap to no avail but as soon as something else pops up that does at least what twitch does and better, it’s going off my system.
I always look for addons on the curse website.
