Hi, this thread is for those stuck during loading, after loading and in character select screen.
Since the Dragonflight Pre-patch part 2, i’ve noticed alot of issues regarding connection/streaming data in WoW.
TL;DR Problem: Disconnect at 70% during loading.
Once the Pre-patch part 2 hit servers, i got about 70% done with loading on the loading screen before being disconnected.
I tried searching all over for a fix, but found no good solution, and when asking around all i got was a reference too the blizzard help page which told me too check drivers, re-install and so on.
none of this worked.
Then i stumbled upon someone on the forums who had re-installed a second time and got it working.
Tried a second re-install, and the game was working again.
So it seems some corrupted files that gets into the install for the first re-install, which is really odd.
TL;DR Solution: Re-install the game a second time.

After the re-install however i got too log into my character, but after my first log-in i got another issue, now everytime i log into the game and enter the character select screen, it fails to load up the character i have currently selected, freezes then DCs after about
1-2mins.
TL;DR Problem: Screen freeze then DC when trying to select a character.
I searched endlessly for this issue aswell, and the solutions i came across was really wierd here, some solution pulled up a console (Which i didn’t think excisted for WoW)
In the end i found my own half working solution.
If you delete the “Cache” folder, before logging in (You have too do this everytime you log in again), then it will load up your character and give you about 1sec to press “Enter World”, if you don’t click enter world it will then freeze again, although you can reconnect this time without deleting the Cache folder.
TL;DR Solution: Delete “Cache” folder before logging inn everytime and press “Enter world” withing the first second of your character select screen loading up.

About a day after this fix… i stumbled upon yet another issue… i got stuck on loading screen…
TL;DR Problem: Stuck on loading screen after the loading is done. (Never ending)
Found a fix for this aswell.
TL;DR Solution: Change the name of your Cache + WTF + Interface folder too CacheOld, WTFOld and InterfaceOld.
I assume that you can change the names of the folders too whatever, as i would think they just make new folders when the game can’t locate them.
