I want to get the class mount on my shaman so I have to do the Breaching the Tomb achievement. The last quest there I did was Defending Broken Isles, so I am currently stuck at “Champions of Legionfall”. There is no quest avaiable for me in the broken isles, dalaran or in my class hall. After reading multiple guides and watching videos about this, I still have no clue where to get this quest from.
Btw, before anyone answers this with “you need to do the class campaign first”, I have the achievement “A Glorious Campaign” and “Forged for Battle” already, so that shows that I am done with the class hall.
This seems to have been a consistent issue since BfA, and I’ve seen quite a few threads about various classes not finding their start to recruiting the champion required for advancing the achievement.
I’d be happy to look into this, but it’s unfortunately really difficult if you don’t post on the character you’re trying to get the achievement on, as it’s usually quickest to check quest/achievement progress on the impacted character on wowhead.
You mention you already checked guides, so I’m thinking the below doesn’t apply, but still leaving it just in case:
The first comment on the “Champions of Legionfall” page lists out a few prerequisites, amongst which having completed “Heroic Weapons” (gained from the “A Hero’s weapon” quest) seems to be the main achievement people are missing. Not sure if you checked for that already, but give it a look if that might be it.
The shaman-specific quest page on wowhead for “A ‘Humble’ Request” also shows a couple of pre-requisites on the right, potentially leading you to what is still missing.
Let me know if the above works for you, and if not, feel free to respond here with the shaman you’re trying to get the achievement on. I’m sure we can get to the bottom of this
First of all thanks for the reply. The character I be doing this on is Proccplayin-Blackrock (EU). I saw the quest A Heros Weapon and the Heric Weapons achievement be mentioned on all those guides too, but on these It’s the same thing: I can’t find any quests related to those. I did a lot of the pre-quests of A “Humble” Request, but It stopped suddenly at one point. I tried to track my quests on wowhead but I cant find the legion class hall options to track my quests, so I dont know exactly, where It stopped for me, but I have currently 5 champions as my class hall followers, If that helps to find out, where I might be stuck. Champions that I be missing are Magatha Grimtote, Baron Scaldius and Rehgar Earhfury.
Do I have to do all the legion quests like in suramar or something like this? I did a lot of it, because I was hoping that will fix my issue. “The hunt for illidan stormrage” is in my questlog too, is that important for it maybe? Otherwise my questlog is empty.

Alright, so I think I may have found the breadrcumb you need to pick back up again. The quest you’re currently still showing as missing in the line is “A Taste for Blood”, which is started and handed in at Therazane’s Throne in Deepholm, which would explain why you couldn’t find it anywhere.
Just as a side note, since you mentioned you could’t find the quests on your wowhead page, they did indeed show up for me. If you visit the quest section of your character’s Profiler (it takes a good while to load, just fyi), you’ll be able to filter out names of quests. I just backtracked a little in the chain and found where your progress stopped. Hopefully that’ll come in handy in the future, should you ever be lost on a long chain like this again
If I remember correctly (and I got the class mount for all classes back in BfA, so hopefully this didn’t change) you won’t need to finish Suramar and the likes, the only thing that matters is that you finish some order hall side quests and get a few random champions. Breaching the Tomb is very weird that way.
You probably know this already, but if “A Taste for Blood” is your missing quest, you’ll be able to see the full chain on the right-hand side of the wowhead page. Just follow it through to the end and you should be good

Oh I should probably also mention, just so you have a milestone to work towards:
recruiting Scaldius and Rehgar Earthfury is your main goal when following through the quest chain. Once you recruited both of these (which will come up automatically if you follow the chain) you’ll be able to start “A Hero’s Weapon”, after which you can head back to the Broken Shore and speak to Maiev to finally start the “Champions of Legionfall” chain (phew)
I immediately went to deepholm and got the quest, now I am working on it. Thank you so much, I must been too blind back in the day to ignore this quest… -.-
