So this is just something that annoys me a bit and I’m wondering if it happened to anyone else. As the quests in 9.1 make you go back and forth around the maw, I took the opportunity to do my weekly maw stuff while I was there.
This brought me all the way to almost jailer 5, fine right?
Then as I continued the Korthia questline, I am now at the Anger Management and Tears of the Damned, which require doing a few things in the maw.
So of course, as I was doing this, I got in jailer 5 very quickly and got all the way to max stacks, becoming unable to complete the quest.
I am now unable to continue the campaign until tomorrow, just because I did the weekly maw chores that the game wants me to do. Very frustrating.
I had the same thing happen earlier today and it really is frustrating, so I definitely feel you there.
I decided to not wait until tomorrow and just die my way through the chain and ignore the stygia loss that comes with it, since it’s only a handful of quests you need to do, and at the end of that step in the Maw,
Minor spoiler
you unlock the ability to disable effects from the Eye of the Jailer
so this should not be an issue going forward.
Still frustrating though and I can’t think why that ability wouldn’t have been pulled up to be at the start of the new campaign.
