I’m stuck on renown level 6 with the emerald dream. There are no quests etc for me to do on the map, I completed them all this morning.
How do I get beyond level 6 please?
Renown 6 seems low if you did all the quests. Some of the quests put rep tokens in your bag so you have to click on them to get the rep.
There are more side quests that don’t show on the map but if you fly around you should spot them on your mini-map. North east of the zone on the islands for example.
You can also plant seeds, the first 5 each week give reasonable rep, after that they only give about 5 rep each.
Also port out the zone and back in if you havn’t as i noticed some quests didn’t show up until i had done that.

If I’d use all my rep tokens I’d be at renown 9. And that’s after having done every quest, 5 seeds, all treasures, WQs and killed some rares every day.
People who are way ahead of us either exploited the macro bug or simply played when seeds rewarded a lot more rep.
I’ve saved nothing, I’m at renown 9. I don’t care for the min maxing.

Or did the first rep grind as a human, used the DMF 10% rep buff, got a contract and did all the world quests, put some music on and farmed seeds for 5-10 rep each.
Getting to 10 doesn’t require abusing an exploit.
It is also possible that those people also did their first clears on an alt. My mage is currently atleast halfway to reknown 10 from doing all above you did and using the DMF buff.
I reckon if you are human you could go above 10 when DMF was still going.

I forgot to use the DMF buff while it was up and was about ~8.3 renown by sunday morning. Not logged in for 2 days though, maybe there’s a couple of new world quests up I should do…
Having alts hold their tokens for next week when I can hit 10 and make use of catch up.
Indeed, based on my 8.3 with no buffs, a human character and knowing to save all the tokens to use with the DMF buff could potentially have got there; especially before the seeds nerf.
Sucks a bit to have had the seeds nerfed after launch though. Got to start taking time off work for them day 1 tricks I guess…
Definitely do the first 5, they’re 500 rep each I think. And I guess kill rares, it’s not a lot but it’s a little bit. And treasures! Some of the treasures are worth 200.
As far as I have seen, you should end up with 8 or 9 renown, of which I have 10 renown by playing with a group with https://www.wowhead.com/spell=46668/whee on me always comes from https://www.wowhead.com/item=93730/darkmoon-top-hat if it expires or if I die.
There are side quests. They are not on the map, NPCs have it.
Travel around ED with a conventional flying mount, and you will see them. They are quest chains, that always end with an item similar to ED insignia, which gives a 250 - 500 reputation.
Also, kill rares on the map while you are around. (Move to the location with Dragon Riding Mount, they have a huge healthy bar, takes a long to kill.)
Super-casual approach. I’ve done all the quests (that I’ve found at least) and the dailies. No rep-buffs, a couple of Super-Blooms and less than 10 Emerald Seed events .

I’m at renown 8 after doing everything, ok I have saved a couple of rep tokens that if added would just be under renown 9 - no real rush 
Oops, guess I’d missed this article… looks like the infinite seed farm is/was considered an exploit and Blizz are rolling back accounts that used it.
Doesn’t look like there’s any further action, which is fair because players weren’t actively trying to break the game, there was just a system in place that was benefitting them so they used it. Not really their fault that the system shouldn’t have been there.
There’s also the 1k rep from war mode, the 500 from profession hand ins. .
I got renown 10 without doing anything fancy. Had I done it on an alt first then done my main I’d be 15-16 or so.
I am at renown 15 currently. I used an alt method, pushed him to 10 asap then moved on to main. I did not farm dreamseeds on either char, I did not exploit in any way.
To get to 10 I made sure to use dmf buff on every major rep gain. Like in my first hour I took dmf unlocked the rep and went to do all insta rewards while being buffed. So treasures world quests rares etc. Once buff wotn out I was too lazy to get it back so I pushed the campaign but didnt click any rewards. I gathered all and used them with dmf buff. I did all wqs, did pvp weekly for 1k rep, did all dragon isles world quests with contract. Hit 10 around saturday.
Was far less efficient on main, didnt bother optimising much. Did all rep sources and got to 15 as of now. Think with proper efficiency this could have been 17 at least with a shot at 18. But I am happy enough with 15 should get rune early next id.
