I was disconnected while flying on the wind rider.
I am afraid to login, because it is possible that my char will not remount correctly on the wind rider and fall to death. Which I do not want to risk, because I am playing on a hardcore server.
So I’ve tried to use the “Stuck Character Service” on the web site.
Unfortunately, it is not working, error code: fa1c9961-e4bd-4e78-a865-f3ac603dba74 and message “Something went wrong on our end”
I’ve tried to use the service several times and with different browsers. And it was failing / time-out every f’ing single time.
I’ve tried to open a ticket to report this, no way … at the end I get redirected to the unstuck server page which is not working for me.
Was anybody able to use the “Stuck Character Service” recently?
Have not tried the unstuck service myself but have seen a couple of other people say it was not working for them. They didn’t get the error but the service wasn’t acutally moving the character even after it said it had. So it seems there could be an issue with the service.
Try this link if you need to make a ticket still it should hopefully take you straight to a page allowing you to type in your problem. Be sure to provide all relevant info such as which character your trying to move, game version etc and explain you have tried the service and it’s not working otherwsie you will almost definately get a reply telling you to use it.

I’ve already tried to open a ticket using this link.
But unfortunately, at the very end they “need more info” and I have to choose a category.
Choosing the right category will direct me to the page of the not working unstuck service.
I assume, that choosing a random/wrong category will get my ticket closed for choosing the wrong category. Which I can understand to some extend …
oh, i just tested that myself and yeah your right, you can no longer make a ticket that way as it just sends you back to the category selection.
Great… they seem intent on cutting off every last bit of the very limited support you could still get, which would not be so bad if the so called self service options actually worked.

I’ve just tried this on a character i don’t play to see if i get the error too and i didn’t get it. It was a retail character though so i wonder if the error you get is something to do with your character being on a Hardcore server

The character was moved to a safe location and you should now be able to log in. You’ll need to wait four hours before using the service on this character again. If you keep running into this problem with characters on your account, there may be underlying issues causing this to happen—contact support for help in that case.
