I’m not sure if it’s just me, but this patch I feel like it’s happening ALL the time. It’s actually infuriating.
PLEASE find a fix. I don’t know what, but it’s really bad lately

I don’t know how players who cannot remove combat with an ability are sticking this. I tried with my DK and stopped very quickly. Come on blizz get this sorted!!!

Yep, same on my warlock. I’ve Alt-F4’d and logged on hours later and still in combat.
Had the same playing with my Monk yesterday. Happened all the time. Had to attack a random mob to get my “stuck in combat” removed so I could fly again. It was annoying.

It happens all the time.
Shadowmeld doesn’t always remove combat either.
You have to run out of the area.
Yeah… ZM is really bad with this garbage. The first two days I came back to the game I was in combat until I logged out in ZM, if I ever entered combat. I think some of the mobs close to Haven gets you stuck in combat until they die… But if you try to kill them, some more have already spawned and they prolong the combat.
