I’m having the same issue, the npcs are phasing out and I can’t continue the questline…

Have to hijack this topic for a bit. Is anyone stuck in vashjir? I finished the “naga bombing” quests and also the first (out of 3) visions of the past, but im not getting anymore quests. Questie is of course not a great help. This is frustrating

I have made a ticket about this. This was the answer from Blizzard:

Additionally, sometimes relogging or clearing the game cache can resolve such hiccups.

So it looks like its not a big problem so they will not fix it
go to shrine of aessina and there near moonwell you can see npc. game is fine its just questie wrong
I went there several times and the quest npc there literally phased out infront of my eyes when I got too close… so no the game is not fine ^^

Are you surprised that the AI does not believe you that the zone is bugged for some ?

Your comments baffle me. Majority of the people dont have this issue at all. The minority however does experience this for real. Why is it so hard to understand that the game is broken when this issue was also present back in the original release? xd I don’t know if you really believe in this or just gaslighting.
Not a very convenient solution to this bug. Set frame rate to 8. Then fly to the NPC and get quest. It doesn’t always work the first time, it may take a few tries. Enable autoquest. Coordinates of the starting point 45 60
There are more and more people with this problem. We are now having two guildies with this issue!!
so like this, you stay here, make auto accept and auto complete quests, and just run in to complete “imgur. com/ Hxh5PPq” remove space
i dont troll its working advise im sure for majority it will work. but if he try and not help then he should crete ticket
You can pick up the quests if you are on a flying mount and use the “INS” key in order to fly upside down. AS Long as you are upside down the NPCs don’t seem to phase away and you can auto pickup/hand in the quests. Takes a little time to nail it but it 100% works

Yeah quests just stopped there for me after a certain point, there was no follow on quests leading to next cave etc
I traveled to the other caves with flight paths and NPC’s but no quests. I just had to leave the area before finishing them
I did all the quests up to where i should be able to receive “Visions of the past:The slaughter of…”.
I Can´t find the quest npc anywhere. Scratch that. I see her talking but shes not on my “plain”.
Short Cata experience that was.
Don’t you need to click on the item in your inventory to start the quest when you are at the spot where yo usee the npcs talking?

The relevant Quest giver was nowhere to be found. After i finished the “pre quests” i was led to a quest hub at which there were no other available quests. I had to back track quite a bit to find the instanced quest npc, which should not be the case as far as i remember.
That’s the copypaste bot reply. Nobody human read your ticket yet. Keep replying “I still have a problem” option and say you plan to cancel your sunscription in text, a human will actually read it as that is their trigger word to escalate it to actual person GM.
On my 3rd ticket I finally got an actual reply last night. They said the are currently working on a fix and should be hotfixed soon. They then went in to detail about how the bug is fixed and what steps need to be taken to fix it. It seems the bug is game breaking enough that enough people have reported it that they deem it worthy enough to fix lol
