Hi. I am a Shadowlands noob (last time I playes was WOTLK).
I have a lvl 20 druid and i did a quest from blasted lands through the dark portal, with Thrall and a bunch of other NPCs, and I found myself in Talador/Tanaan Jungle and cannot return to Azeroth.
I tried going to Shattrah but it looks “sealed”, like…there is no entrance into the city and I am wandering outside.
I tried returning to the dark portal, but it’s crumbled and there’s no green portal through the stones. I am now in Zeth’Kur and genuinely stuck. I also feel like I might be in some other timeline because I wasn’t able to see anyone around me.
I am on Silvermoon (EU). Is this a bug? Am I missing something?

Did you already build your garrison?

What does that imply? I don’t think I did.
Did you complete the scenario with kadgar and all the other guys and escaped on a boat?

Last time I entered was 2 months ago. I think I might have done that but I also remember trying to get on top of something to finish a quest and I couldn’t find “the chain” so I am not sure if the boat i remember was from some youtube videos or if i did it.
I also abandoned all the quests hoping that abandoning something that’s keeping me there might trigger return me (like a teleport out of instance kind of thing). this is all super new to me. sorry for being so parallel with everything here ^.^
Did you try to hearthstone? And also when you logged with your char where was he? You need to complete all the quests until you escape on a boat and go to shadowmoon valley or frostfire ridge
Well, when I got to Talador, I made a HS there (big mistake) since I had no clue I was stuck back then, and, I thought it might be hard to get to outland again. My plan was to finish up in that area, make HS there, and then go back to Azeroth through the Shattrah portals. And then I saw how stuck I was and now I am bugging everyone like a damzel in distress :))) I was hoping to find someone who fell into this same issue, but there’s nothing about it online.
Didn’t you got HS for garrison? No need to link main HS to the Draenor.
I did the intro to WoD a couple of days ago on an alt. This bit is about half way through. You have to kill a boss at the base of the Worldbreaker and run up the chain (there are 2) and do some stuff at the top before you “escape” on the boat and get to build your garrison.
So it sounds like you are stuck in the phasing. As you have already left the scenario and abandoned quests I’d try looking in the Quest Log ( default key L ) and make sure you have no active quests or anything that could be WoD Intro.
If that still doesn’t get you out of the phasing and back to normal you could try searching the forums and Wowhead to see if they can help.

Yup, that’s exactly what i did. i abandoned all quests hoping to get myself out of there.
Now i have an empty quest log, a Khadgar’s tower hearthstone, and true, I beileve 99% i am in a weird phase because I wasn’t able to see any players.
I am right at the dark portal now and it’s all crumbled and not functional.
Try to ask a warlock to summon you out.

i was trying to find on wowhead something, youtube, but i am not finding anything, also, maybe i don’t know how to word it :))
what is the name of the character and realm ?
I tried asking and i have no reply. i asked 2 warlocks, a mage, and some random classes. one person replied and said they have no clue how to help

Where is your hearthstone set? If it is still in Stormwind / Orgrimmar, you might be able to just teleport out.

Ok so yes, this is what happened: I abandoned the garrison chain quest that didn’t allow me to exit the area. And I couldn’t find where to get it again. I got taken in some places and asked if I can see any quest givers but nothing was there.
I got teleported by Fury and his friend back to Stormwind <3 thank you so so so much
