Is anyone having trouble with quest “Missing Heirlooms” (cata/quest=29415)? When I accept this quest, it has 2 objectives “Search the courier’s cabin”. But when I explore the cabin on the ship, I only complete one objective. The second one is still not completed.
Is it a bug or am I missing something?

Same happens for the alliance version of this quest.
Currently in 2024 Hallow’s End event in Classic servers you cannot get the crate pet, since the starter quest is bugged (has duplicate objective, but you only get credit for one).
Seems to be an issue in all regions. One of several bugs I’ve experienced in cata classic.

same bug here, talked with a lot of ppl on my guild & server they have the same issue. it’s also mentioned on Wowhead, lets hope it will be fixed quickly
FYI, I tried going to Stormwind aswell to see if they messed up the coding and mixed alliance and horde but that too doesn’t work.
Same problem on earthshakers. Cannot complete the quest.
Death courier is there. No crate.
Everyone tensed up and remembered the week-long Horde bug at the Beer Festival. The mugs were fixed, the sheep quest on Ogri was broken. Now it’s the same, and in the Alliance too.

Even though classic has 4x more players than retail (according to the amount of parses this month for each game on wc logs), blizz insist on wasting all their dev time on retail, while neglecting classic. It’s insane that they dont play-test the events before releasing them…

The quest is fixed and is completeable now. However, after doing so, I noticed the Creepy Crate pet itself is bugged still and just randomly dies roughly 5 seconds after being summoned, every time.
Yes, quest is fixed now. Finally, I was able to complete this quest chain.
