Great. I am in US but play on EU servers and it says Im connect to Americas
and stuck in loading char list too
same, do you have a US starter account too?

Has nothing to do with it. Game region (account) is set on the bottom left drop down menu. The one just above the play button.
depends, some people like myself, live abroad but cant transfer the account to the new region. so they keep playing on EU servers to keep their chars
A friend of mine logged around 1h ago, doesn’t seem to have any issues, I’m guessing the only ones affected are those of us who tried to log around maintenance, as in we’re stuck in the retrieving character loop and can’t get out, whereas people who got up at 8 a.m. for example are fine.

i got kicked out during maintenance, cause i was on when they gave the 15 minute SERVER SHUTDOWN announcement in chat. i guess you’re right.

yeah i also got kicked out, i literally killed heroic fractus in the raid 30 seconds before server went down lol…

I wasn’t logged when servers went down and tried to login around 10:15pm (UTC -5). But I live in NA not EU.
Just wondering if it is all countrys including americans that have this issue or its just people from europe ?
I have an inactive US account (WoW1) and my main EU account (WoW2) as well…
Just Europe, I checked the US forums, no topic about this issue on their forums.

i think most of us tried all of those “fixes” already and i find it quite cheeky to be very honest to just brush the issue off with the indication this is an error on the players end and not on Blizzards.
Seems to happen mostly to players with a EU and an inactive US account linked btw.
