So, I wanted to go to Pandaria to explore as it interested me and seemed like a cool world. I took the portal from Stormwind and as soon as I loaded in, I saw someone say to take this portal up to Skyfire. So I did, and now I can’t get off it. I also don’t have a hearthstone on me, I’m not even sure I have one at this rate. I’m completely stuck at level 40 and I DO NOT want to abandon this character with all the grinding and hours I’ve put into it. What do I do?

actually one of my characters keeps receiving the same message to hop on the skyfire each time he’s in pandaria, does anybody know what triggers the portal npc to say so? there is no quest to abandon or pick up around.
You might be high level so you need to enable trivial quest tracking to see it. The game basically wants you to do the MoP intro by sending you there.
