Hi, I’m back after a long absence.
I’m not even a T0/T0.5 stuffer yet.
But I’m level 60.

I have a GS of about 500 green/blue.
I’m also playing Classic 20th Anniversary and Classic MOP (coming soon).

I’d like to know, with the new SOD phases, what’s the fastest way to get stuff from my equipment?
Because if I have to do every Tier of equipment to access T3.5 it’s going to discourage me as I don’t have a lot of game time available.

Sounds like u gotta pay with $ or suck it up and do the content so you dont have to be a complete drag for everyone else stuck with you in the raid.

Nightmare dragons - BWL/AQ40 for weaps & trinkets - Karazhan - Naxxramas → SE

First order of magnitude would be getting reals from Dungeons and older raids like MC to get your T1/T2 depending on a class you are. Unlocking New Avalon and getting Scarlet Uniform Pieces (if you maxed out your Tailoring/LW/BE you can buy recipes cheap and craft it) will allow you to start doing weekly turn-ins that will give you 1/3rd of SE Tier token each week.

  1. Farm dungeons for coins and buy 4x BWL pieces and 4x MC pieces from the coin vendor. If you lack coins, do ZG / MC coin runs, might as well get some gear.
  2. Farm dungeons for coins and buy the class weapon quest from the coin vendor. Do the quest and get a great weapon.
  3. Join Nightmare Grove. It is a catch-up raid, the entry bar is low and it drops the BWL pieces that are not on the coin vendor, as well as many AQ pieces.
  4. Try to do Karazhan Crypts every day. It has daily lockout. It requires some gear but if you are lucky you will be carried. Karazhan drops are genrally somewhere between AQ and Naxx in terms of power.
  5. Do the Scarlet Enclave “attunement” as soon as possible and start doing weeklies. 3 weeklies = tier 3.5 piece
  6. You can try AQ40 or even AQ20 if you have nothing else to do

What NOT to do?

  • Blackwing Lair
  • Onyxia and her attunement
  • Azuregos and Kazzak
  • Raid boosts
  • Tier 0.5 questline
  • Running regular dungeons FOR GEAR
  • Buying MC pieces for the slots that have purchasable BWL gear
  • Scourge invasions (unless you are close to Naxx)

If you play dps class, first, buy or craft scarlet uniform pieces (if you are playing tanking or healing spec, i still advice you to gear up as dps, and in future you can turn-in tier tokens for any spec you want)

This gear will make you high “gearscore” that players asking for joining dungeons/raids (it’s GS is higher then t1/t2). You can go to any raid with it, except of SE. Scarlet uniform pieces work as “sanctified” (naxx mechanic - you need 8 sanctified pieces of gear with seal level 7 for maximum benefit).

You can go to low difficulty level naxx with it (dont forget to make seal rank 7 if you going for HM3, or rank 6 for HM2 - it’s done with repeatable quest). AFter some naxxramas raids, you will be ready for SE.

Also, dont forget to visit other raids for more gear. It’s very fast way to gear if you can make your own group to nightmare drakes, BWL or AQ10 raid (it’s not hard, those raids can be completed without any RL commands, all you need is just be able to roll loot) and hard reserve some items for you, if you need it for your spec pre-SE BiS

Farming fallen heroes in EPL ofc, they have a chance to drop high end gear.
