Stuttering after last night

I have noticed my PC started stuttering my FPS drops when i open proffesion tabs, when im crafting, when I fly above Stormwind.
Very sudden FPS (60 to 35) drops and stuttering.
I want to add that FPS drops usually are whatever to me but the stuttering totally ruins my experience.
I tried restarting the PC, deleting the GPU cache, deleting the game cache, ive tried upgrading the addons , disabled all addons one by one and all of them disabled- i tried that too.
What other options are there, I could really appreciate some advices ?

i really had to accept that sugger daddy offer a week ago.
The universe was giving me signs.
LOL.
Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 3.70 GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660- SUPPER
32 gb (divided on 4 sticks) RAM, Gskill Ripjaws

Please help.
EDIT:
The issue has been resolved:
The problem was the DirectX 12.
Ingame i switched to Directx 11 and the issues went away.

  • Check if PC is overheating. Deal with any potential cooler problems, whether you got water cooling or using a fan.
  • Does this happen for anything other than professions / flying above Stormwind?
  • Does anything else stutter on your PC when doing anything?
  • Did you update addons through Curseforge app?
  • Did you do all your Windows pending updates?

I tried arenas and in 3v3 it stutters the same.
Aside from that i deep cleaned the PC both physically and software wise.
even changed the thermal paste of the CPU.
My fans function and are squeeky clean and i even tried to increase their speed but that did not affect performance in the slightest.
Deleted all chache BS, tried deleting windows temp files too, most of them didnt allow deletion.
Aside from that i updated my invidia driver but the pc itself doesnt show any pending updates.
It just started acting like this today.
Yesterday i was playing shuffle no issues.

Considering its started to happen recently, is there any form of program you started using?
Do you watch streams or any form of content while playing?
Have you tried turned down some graphic settings and see if that will make any difference?

You can use a program like HWInfo or something alike to check your temps and more in realtime considering you say you see the FPS drop when you craft etc it should be easy to recreate and see what could potentially be dropping/increasing.

And kinda what Irony asked, do anything else stutter on your PC when you are doing anything else or is it just purely in WoW?

No. As i said i even tried turning off the addons, now i will try to save my settings somehwere and remove them completely and reinstall the game.
There was nothing in the background, i dont even use an antivirus besides the default windows defender thingy.

I tried that- theres no overheating problem.

its purely WoW.

I would assume you scan & repaired and it didnt help?
Otherwise I would prob test the reinstall.
I do feel your annoyance since ive had the same issue, just dont remember how I fixed it or if it just stopped randomly.

Yeah… nothing helps.
It is what it is.

If it’s only WoW try playing around with some ingame settings to see if anything helps

The problem has been found.
Its the Directx 12 driver.
The moment i switched to Directx11 in the ingame settings everything reverted back to normal.
Thanks for the help.
