Stuttering and FPS drops mostly when skyriding?

So if im walking in Dornogal my fps is 150+ on settings 7/10 ,if i use skyriding it drops to 70 and going up and down, basically very unstable for some reason.

Really, everything is up to date and pc is more than good to handle wow especially with this 3d cache CPU.

You mean when flying over the new hub?
Those FPS drops are “normal”, engine/server(phasing) related.
Same as in Valdrakken.
When you fly over a certain area you get phased and all the players are loading in, thus the stutters.

That also, but in general i get stuttering while flying

This has been going on ever since Dragonflight pre-patch and Blizzard doesn’t seem interested in fixing it. Doesn’t matter if you have a 14900K/7800X3D CPU, the stutter seems it’s here to stay.

+1 Same here

This started to happens since Dragonflight pre patch and never left us. I doubt Blizzard wille ever do anything about it. I’m not experiencing stutters outdoor, but towns like Valdrakken or Dornagal - it’s not fun to skyride there.

I don’t know how much it will help you but try disabling Skyriding Speed Effects and Skyriding Screen Effects. They are pretty taxing on the FPS of lower end machines (almost 50% or more)

Probably nothing. His specs are anything but lower end.

When you enter a hub area where there are lots of players, the frames drop, its because of the number of players and their specific armour. It’s game related, not your spec. It should happen to everyone. I have a high spec machine and it still happens to me.

There is plenty of stuttering when skyriding out in the world though, which is annoying.
