Subscription payment issue

Trying to my monthly wow subscription but keep running into error.

This is the message I’m getting:

"Sorry, we’re unable to complete your payment.

We’re sorry, but we were unable to complete payment on your order.
Please confirm your payment information before retrying your order."

I have checked like 5 times and my card information is right.
I even just bought a Steam game to check if there’s a problem related to my card, and the payment succeeded.

I’ve been using this card to pay my monthly sub and it always worked but this time the payment isn’t approved

I checked with my bank and all seems fine, I have the right amount of money to pay with it.

We’re not aware of any wider issues at the moment and haven’t seen other reports so far.

Most issues can be resolved by using another browser, device, or if needed payment method.

Some banks do not permit debit cards to be used for Continual Payment Authorities (Subscriptions). Some do, some don’t, and front-line bank help desk workers are usually unaware of such restrictions, sadly.

This is because they want each transaction to be subject to the new EU “Strong Authentication” requirement for debit card transactions.

If yours is one such bank, you might have to buy gametime instead of a subscription. Or use a credit card instead of a debit card.
