Subscription Problems

Good evening everyone. Yesterday i did my normal routine of buy a 1 month subscription which was successful , i even got a confirmation email and the money was withdrawn from my bank account. My transaction was with visa. Unfortunately by the time my previous sub ended i got kicked out of the game and couldnt get back in because it said i wasnt subbed even though i already paid for that. The thing is that is already 30+ hours since the incident and i cant get in the game. Also got charge 2 times for 1 euro from blizzard randomly. Has this happened to anyone else before? Cause i do this method all the time and never had this problem. Wasnt visa supposed to be instant? Thanks in advance everyone !

It’s likely that your order has been cancelled by your payment provider, this can happen. Please check with your bank to see what exactly happened with your charge.

You can alternatively contact Blizzard with the order number through a ticket, they can’t discuss payment details over the forum due privacy.

Thank you for your reply! The problem is that in my transaction history i cant see my payment anywhere so i can give them my order number!

Usually your bank order still has a order number from where you get products from, it could be a good reference.

In most cases, this is because the actual payment for the Subscription ultimately failed, but we’d need a Ticket to actually check it since we can’t discuss payments on the Forums.

As a point of information, when you set up a Subscription, three things happen:

  1. If it’s a new payment method that hasn’t been used on the account before, a ~€1 charge is created, then cancelled, to verify the details
  2. A charge for the value of the Subscription is created, then cancelled, in accordance with payment regulations. This only applies to Subscriptions, also happens if you update your Subscription, and is the most common reason for people assuming the payment worked.
  3. Assuming those two succeed, and you do not currently have time on your account, then you are then actually charged for the Subscription payment. If you do have time, then this charge doesn’t happen until you run out.

The first two charges that are created, then cancelled, can take up to a few weeks to be released back into your account by your bank, but usually it happens within a few days.

Have been reading all above, does not apply to me. I have a 6 month subscription that has been running for years (had it for 15 years) and now it says “no subscription”. It’s total bull, this is not by far our problem but Blizzard. Please sort it out fast.

You “reading all above” but somehow missed the part where he said that payment issues can’t be investigated over the forums.

In any case, its a 2 year necro, so likely to be closed.
