Sudden decrease in graphic quality in magic

I have a problem that I hope you can help me with
I was playing around with the graphics the other day, just trying to see which settings I liked best and what my computer could take without being too laggy. But when I returned to the settings I usually use, the magic looked really weird and pixelated. Especially fire looks really bad. My graphic settings are:
On 4 on the scale at the top but I made some extra adjustments to it. I have environmental detail on 6, ground clutter on 5, particle density on high, depth effect on high and SSAO on good.

My resolution scale is 94%

I am by no means an expert on any of this, these are just the settings I decided on after playing around with it a bit.

Try switching resolution scale back to 100%.

I just did, it made no difference

Those are local files, and cannot be viewed by anyone else other than you.

You need to upload them somewhere such as imgur, then give us the link to them.

I just did, but now it won’t allow me to add links or images to a post

Put the urls inside preformatted text’s I believe (the " on the toolbar above the edit window)

Can you take screenshot of the graphics settings you have currently? To me it looks like you might have lower texture resolution active. Remember that stuff gets blurred when you zoom in heavily like in the screenshots so I don’t really see anything outright wrong.

Yeah looks like your Texture Resolution is set to low. Set it to high.

I changed it to high, and it helped a little, but not very much. these are my current settings

Well, i just logged on my mage, switched to fire, cast the shield and zoomed in.
Yep, it looks like a really badly compressed jpg with low resolution.
Nothing you can do there, it’s just the way it is in the game :confused:

Btw, are you running on a mac?
