[Edit (13.04.2022): So far there has been no freezing problems after switching from DirectX11 to DirectX12]
[I am not sure but switching from DirectX11 to DirectX12 (System > Advanced > Graphics API) might have solved the problem and also gained me some extra FPS. I will observe it for the next 3 days and post the results.]
My game suddenly and randomly gets frozen when a boss is being pulled in a raid (particularly sepulcher of the first ones), or some mechanic like spawning add is about to happen. This also sometimes happens in M+. The game just gets frozen for 6-7 seconds and it goes back to normal. I’ve updated all my drivers, disabled/deleted all addons etc. and nothing helped. This problem started to happen approximately 2-3 weeks ago. When I started the game (4 months ago) I had no issues like this both in raid and mythic+.
It does not happen so frequently but it happens nonetheless. It is so frustrating to play like this, please help.

In the moments before the “freeze”, are the other players per chance appearing to be “moonwalking” or just generally walking on the spot near you? Or is there an effect like everything briefly speeding up massively, just after the freeze ends?
if either of those symptoms occur, that’d be very strong evidence of said freeze actually being the result of a brief disruption in the connection towards the server (usually packet loss of some sort). That said, given the particular timing of events - it seems more likely that this is actually caused by one of your addons going badly off the rails, even if it has been disabled before. You’d want to give the steps listed in this article a try first, to see if that improves matters - if issues persist even on a “pure” WoW client then the next step would be to take a closer look at the connection route as a whole.
No, it just freezes instantly and there is no speeding up when it gets back. I also don’t think it is a connection related issue because when the game freezes and I try to click on the screen, the wow.exe stops working windows message pops up. I will try the UI reset, thanks.
