Suddenly can't login to Battlenet

The app has been working fine until this morning, suddenly my login page gets stucked at “connecting” and then fails to log in me in. I’ve researched and tried all possible solutions: clearing caches, %temp%, %programdata%, %appdata%, reinstalling battlenet, releasing/renew ipconfig with flush dns and updated Nvidia drivers. Only thing that works is to change wifi use my mobile as a hotspot. Am I experiencing a DDOS attack on my internet provider? I’m using Tele2 at the moment. Anyone in the same position? I’ve never had this issue before

Hello there,

As always, please make sure you include specifics in your reports, such as general geographic location and service provider.

You can also find more info on troubleshooting steps to try here:

That said, given that several reports already mention the same ISP, I’d strongly encourage you to contact them directly as well.

Hopefully the problem can be mitigated quickly!

Once entering my Battle.net login credentials the client just spins on “Logging in…”

I’ve tried everything from Connection Troubleshooting - Blizzard Support

Currently on a wired connection.

It happend after I installed Warcraft 2: Remastered, tried starting it couldn’t login inside the game, tried restarting battle.net and now this.
I can start WoW through directory, enter my credentials and authenticator code manually and login and play WoW

Also tried:
Disk-cleanup to remove temporary files
Reinstall Battle.net
Tried to uninstall Warcraft 2: Remastered - Unable cause battle.net doesn’t recognize the game exists. So, I’ve Tried manually removing the folder. But alas.

Edit some additional troubleshooting that has proved unsuccessful:

  1. Installed Battle.net on a Virtual Machine running Win11 Pro connected to my internet through vEthernet connected to my Ethernet connection. Issue persist.
  2. Tried logging in going straight from media converter to pc (Omitting router). Issue persist.

Right now it seems that something has happend to my account on blizzard’s end when I bought the Warcarft 1/2 battlechest.

edit again. Im also from Sweden using Tele2. Contacted them but they seem completely dumbfounded had no information regarding any distruptions.

Im having the same problem aswell. Im only having problems with battlenet, every other game i test works as intended so it cant be my/our problem it is from battle.net i would guess. I created a ticket and the “solutions” the GM gave me did not work. So i dont know what more to do. Becoming quite frustrating when you pay for a game and cant play it.

I’ve had the same issue since this morning. Tethering using my phone and disconnecting it from the wifi is the only fix that have worked for me so far. Tele2’s tech support has no clue so far and there’s no known issues in my area.

The people with problems are surely the people with tele2 as IPS, because my friends that are not on tele2 can log in without no problems

Same issue, same provider.
Tele2 confirmed multiple reports has been raised for Bnet connection issues (with normal activity for any other platform/internet usage)

Has anyone with tele2 ISP called their support and figured out what was going on?
