Suggestion: automatically collect apperences

Disenchanting, scrapping or vendoring a gear piece that is not soulbound should automatically add that item to your appearance collection if the character is eligible to collect that appearance.

As it is now you have to manually go trough the gear you want to destroy and check which appearances you already collected, equip and than unequip all the different pieces before you destroy them.

This would only be a quality of life improvement and have no effect what so ever on the game as you are already able to do this manually. Hopefully other people here support my suggestion.

If you can equip it then why not do that with every item before you destroy it, it’s couple of extra mouse clicks. Pandering to laziness is not something Blizzard do.

One more thing, suggestions are made ingame not on the forums, this will not be forwarded by the Blues.

There are addons which tells you if you already have the transmog. I use TransmogTokens for this

Really usefull to kno whether you have all the transmog a World boss can drop or if you should equip a green

I’m using addon called CanIMogIt. It puts small icon in the corner of the item:

  • checkmark if you already have that appearance,
  • x if you don’t have it and can unlock it on this character,
  • star if you don’t have it but can’t unlock it on this character and item is bind on equip,
  • minus if you don’t have it, can’t unlock it on this character and it’s souldbound.

It makes it realy easy to find items you need to equip or send to your alts.

Well blizzard themselves say:

" You can submit feedback and suggestions for improving World of Warcraft in one of two places:

  • Our community forums.
  • Using the in-game “Submit Feedback” option that is found on the Help menu."

And I do make suggestions in the feedback section too, but that’s kind of like talking to a brick wall.

Thought it was in the default UI, but must be Bagnon telling me which apperances I have and don’t have then.

I get a blue text under items. It either says “You haven’t collected this apperance”, or “You have collected this apperance, but not from this item”. If I have the item, it says nothing.
