Suggestion for delves based on their inherent inequality

Hey, so I know they are tuning stuff and will continue to do so but I think one of the biggest issues with delves that is unlikely to be tuned is the inequality different classes/specs face.

Earthcrawl mine is a great example - the place itself isn’t particularly bad, a bad pull and you could get destroyed but generally everything is doable if you take care (I think this is the point about things being challenging - make people work for loot but don’t make it impossible by requiring things they can’t do.

What if, instead, we unlocked our delvers kit. This could be 1 slot in the toolbelt unlocks when you XYZ (this depends on how many ‘tools’ would be needed to make encounters fair). The tools in our belt would also be completely separate to Brann and only available in solo delves. This would help to prevent too much of class identity being stripped away

So what could the tools be?

Safety line - autocast heal 25% hp when drop below 25% hp, cannot activate more than once per minute

low-battery torch - 10s of light for times when candles burn out too fast

Marbles 3/3 - 3 usable items to distract mobs allowing for single pulls (in reality would work like a hunter trap or 60s blind)

[insert item name] - clears curses, 60s cd

[antidote] - clears poison, 60s cd

[insert item name] - interrupt enemy cast, 12s cd

Miners helmet - reduce damage by 25% but lose 2 item slots from belt

etc

The idea is that tuning is based on everyone, but doesn’t normally take into account individual class difficulties. This would remain flavourful - i.e. mining/exploration theme, making tuning easier and prevent some classes from being unable to complete specific fights. As tuning would be easier Blizz can also then focus on making the fights match their design philosophy - i.e. certain amount of dps needed for this fight otherwise will need to be able to heal through this much damage or withstand hits of this amount. This could also be done with bosses where a 5% dmg buff is added every 30s and, after 1 minute of fighting air quality reduces so you lose 5% max hp every 15 seconds - this makes the fights into a gear check so not gearing too quickly.
