I play since 2005 when I was 18 and now 36.
I never got Gladiator tittle and will never be.
because I am a loser with thousands of arenas played and still hard stuck 1.2-1.6k rating.
I would appreciate an Additional way for Gladiator mount to those like me who are trying extremally hard , looking at all the guides, investing hours each day and still can never make it happen.
Maybe 1k or more wins above 1k?

And the achievement should say “Tried extremely hard and looked up all the guides during Dragonflight Season 1”

Well this gladiator mount at 1k wins above 1k rating would still be harder to get than gladiator at 2.4+ 50 wins in solo shuffle like alot of people are demanding.
You should feel motivated to improve and overcome the challenge, not ask for a system which rewards you while being bad.

I understand OP totally.
I am a 37 year old Boomer. I will never reach glad cause I don’t have the time nor the skill to reach 2.4 but I would gladly have a way to work towards a recolor glad version of the mount. It seems kinda wasted that only 0.5% of the player base get these cool mounts. Especially because every top player has many accounts that they push with.
