Suggestion how to improve crafting orders design

Hi. Here is my plan for improving the design.

The first step is to alter crafting:

  1. When you craft an item, it is always tier 1. The inspiration, skill, mats quality do not matter.
  2. After this, you can recraft this item just like now. There skill, mats and inspiration procs will matter. But you can recraft only for 1 tier up at one time.

So to get a tier 5 item, you need to create a basic tier 1 item and then recraft it four times.
Material requirements should be adjusted accordingly

Next step for orders:

  1. Customer places an order for creating an item (tier 1 only) or recraft. He can provide BoP mats, and the others are optional
  2. Multiple crafters can answer one order where they write the price. The price can also be based on the crafter’s materials if the customer didn’t provide them.
  3. Customer selects the crafter he likes the most (like in AH). The choice can be based on the price, inspiration proc chance, crafter’s mats quality etc

Therefore many crafters can fulfill tier 1 order. Fewer crafters can recraft from tier 1 to tier 2. Even fewer from tier 2 to tier 3 and so on

Example: Customer places the order for recraft the sword from tier 4 to tier 5 and gets 2 crafters. One has 10% inspiration proc and 1k gold price. The other has 30% inspiration but 10k price. And the customer has to decide which one he prefers more. Would he take the risk for lower price or not?

Nope, thank you.
Add to public orders minimal quality requirements and public order history for each item. Also you should reward inspiration, as example, by adding to order additional reward for crafting top-tier quality.

Do this and we will have like 10 or more new post with title " why are all orders Rank5 only ??" " how can i level if everyone want Rank 5 only"

And now public orders just dead because no one wants to put their 20k worth of reagents for some newbie to just level his profession, because he has reached 18-19 renown with certain fraction.

but Private orders works fine , your solution woud kill private orders and keep public orders styl a mess just a diffrent kind of mess

Different kind of mess from dead? Yup, sounds good to me.

No, it wouldn’t.

The point of my design is to allow many crafters with different skill level to fulfill public orders which they are able to. If they add minimal quality to public orders, the people going to spam max tier only

they need to add min quality to public orders and reduce the amount one person can do a day to 5-10
if some one really wants your skill they can personal order it
