Suggestion: Make the 251ilvl Tier buyable with marks

One of the worst things about alts is trying to get the basic 251 ilvl tier pieces. Many specs require all 3 big pieces that cost 95 emblems each as well as gloves or shoulders for another 60 emblems, making the total to 345 emblems needed. This is painful for the classes that have strong 4set bonuses.

As the title says, my suggestion is allowing players to exchange 1 normal mark for 1 251 ilvl piece. Right now many guilds just vendor the tokens due to them being worthless without the basic tier. This will also allow people to get offspecs online faster too, so it may boost the population of healers and tanks too.

What do you guys think about it?

Haven’t you realise? They completely abandon Classic Wotlk, they are working on Cata Classic and SoD updates. It way to late for suggestions now.

That would be a simple and elegant solution to needing like 60 days of dailies for 4 set

An even better suggestion would be to just lower the emblem cost. Because a lot of us has had our guilds implode, and can only resort to pugging for now. And making the marks useful again is gonna make their gold value skyrocket, and every pug leader is gonna make sure to cash in on that. Wherever there’s gold to be made, there’s gonna be exploitation.

It’s the reality of a hypercapitalist economy without any rules or regulations, unfortunately.
