It’s cool to fight for something on an even level. But it’s not cool if the guy who finds the rare first invites 39 ppl. That cancels every fight in open PvP. It cancels what open PvP is about.
So please, Blizzard: Allow 40 ppl of each faction per phase, but pls disallow rnd grouping per premade tool.
And while we´re at it: Pls ban 5+ premades from battlegrounds and the BattlegroundCommander addon.
It rarely ever happens that one side isn’t outnumbered at drops or world bosses. So when your side has the upper hand, you get the loot without a fight. Boring. When there are already five to ten enemies at the spot, it’s not worth to land, because it’s impossible to win and encounters are too short to wait for company.
My 3 suggestions:
A zone shouldn’t have a cap for x players, but for an equal number of horde and alliance.
Encounters should ramp up like the hunt. With loot per stage and a rising chance for better loot per stage for the faction that lost the last stage.
A quick group interface would be nice. It should show all friendly players in the zone/area with the option to opt out. Warhammer online had a great interface for open world stuff. Other than the premade tool in WoW, it helped to organize the players in the zone instead of ruining the balance.
