For context, I really enjoy healing levelling dungeons; I find it very relaxing, and it’s a fun trip down memory lane of all the past expansions.
However, there’s currently no way to queue for all the different expansions’ dungeons when you’re at level cap; you can only queue for the current expansion. So I’d have to level another character, when what I’d really like to do is just log on to my max level resto druid, and chill with a few levelling dungeons just for the fun of it, and help out some people who are levelling their alts.
A mentor queue would scratch this itch while allowing more experienced players to “sign up” to lead their random dungeon groups, and fill groups for people playing the different expansions as they level.
Outside of Mythic+ where old expansion dungeons are added to the rotation, it would be nice to have a way to play all those dungeons on a max level character whenever we want.
Sorry if I wasn’t clear, I meant an actual separate queue that puts you in groups with people from ALL expansions while they are levelling. At present if you are a max level player you can’t queue solo to help out with people doing levelling dungeons for the different expansions. A separate queue designed to filter in willing experienced players is what I’m suggesting here.
I just came up with the same idea, I started healing with alts and discovered that you actually cannot LFG for every expansions random dungeons but only DF ones even if you are not at max level.
Why and when blizzard changed this? There really should be an option to LFG for all dungeons in the past. They are scaled anyway. It would be fun and awesome to be able to get into any old instances and would not be that repetitive like now.
