Third separate suggestion, since auras have been almost useless lately because only one complement the party why not make a big return for the RETRIBUTION aura ?
even a 1% dmg and healing increase would be nice
Or a 3% increase in haste since we have no group buff for haste

No. We should not have a 2nd raid buff unless DK and to lesser extend Warlock get one.
We had it before, it wasn’t a problem, and people are recruiting less paladins because they don’t bring more buff while warlock bring candies, summon and portal.
For DK it needs a raid buff yeah, maybe melee or magic on hit based
Even disregarding debate if class with iirreplacable raid utility should get a raid buff, retri aura was a buggy mess that didn’t work half the time when it was present in DF. Palas aren’t being recruited cause both holy and ret are mid tuned, and tanks usually multiclass so if prot pally is needed to cover raid buff + cheese it’s likely ready. There’s currently no haste or crit raid buff and they could easily slot those into DK/warlock and then thought about reworking hunter’s mark cause it’s weak vs heavy execute fights before thinking about giving pala 2nd raid buff.
edit: to specify i mean ptr tuning currently. s2 live ret is pretty good and holy is ok. but they’re looking weak for s3.
My suggestion is to turn on “Mitigations” when looking at Paladin Logs.
Devo Aura is insanely effective and useful, the question is wether or not their Utility + Spot Healing + Mitigations is strong enough to compete with other healers.
Currently a lot of the raid fights can be managed by a blanket of smart healing, few fights really need a strong spot healer, if it does there are currently better options there.
The issue with Auras is if you have a Prot Paladin, Retri Paladin or Holy Paladin, there’s few options to stack these specs in a raid, you’ll get devo from Retri so Prot and Holy need to useful enough to bring them.
Hence why the need of buffing auras, also holy will always have priority for protection aura because of his group defensive, he can’t afford to use anything else in PVE
