Suggestion to massively improve the already good PvP gearing system

Hello,
Currently if you are interested in PvP, you hit 70 and you have basically 3 options to get started:

1. Buy green combatant gear from AH which costs tens of thousands of gold and gets replaced soon so new players do not have this kind of money, especially for alts.
2. Join battlegrounds with PvE gear, get absolutely wrecked, hunted for fun with 3% vers and ruin the game for your team, do this for 2 days and you get the gear
3. Join epic BGs and “enjoy” the game at 10fps…

All of this could be solved with a simple change:

• Medal of honor is an account wide item that you can transfer to your alts and gain 150 honor. These rarely ever drop though.
  - Make world quests randomly drop this item with reasonable drop chance
  - for every rated arena, soloshuffle or BG on your main, get a guaranteed drop of this item.

This way you can passively funnel these into your alts till you reach the required honor amount to buy a full pvp set from the vendor and you can start min-maxing just like in current state with conquest, crafted pieces and vault drops, but you are set to start playing.

There’s a reason why the green gear is expensive.

What they need to do is making the green gear recipes easy to obtain and also requiring cheap mats.

There you go, now everyone’s starter gear is sorted.

If you do bgs before level 70 green gear is free with wins, and will have full honor very quick for 70 honor gear purchase.

Honestly I just spam BGs and skirmishes from 61 to 70 so I can buy a full set of honor gear when I ding max level.

Why would you inflict quests and dungeons only to yourself while leveling?

Good idea, also put them on vendor so we can send honor to alts.

yes! i didnt include this but would be great to see as an addition to those 5000 honor chests we can buy, to also buy the medals directly!

Getting a basic set of PvP gear in DF is the easiest no-brain content there has ever been for Season 1 of an expack. Just spam some EBGs and Warmode content and you’ll be done before you know it.
