Suggestion: Why Liquid Magma Totem needs a Buff/Rework

TLDR: Liquid Magma Totem way underperforms and needs to be buffed by at least 50%; maybe a rework is better.

Hello, I am Suggesting a Rework/Buff for the Liquid Magma Totem.

Liquid Magma Totem feels pretty bad right now, but i don’t want to make a Thread just based on feelings, so i simmed and made some Graphs to show that it underperforms.

The first Picture is without a Legendary, and the second Picture is with our AOE Legendary Echoes of the Great Sundering.

Here we see our first Problem with Liquid Magma Totem, in my Opinion MotE works as a Allrounder, and LMT should be better in AOE Situations.

The first Problem is that MotE works with Echoes of the Great Sundering and Liquid Magma Totem doesn’t. Since Echoes of the Great Sundering is by far our best Legendary in AOE Situations, Liquid Magma Totem needs to be buffed so its still a viable pick.

The second Problem is that Enemies could die or leave the Liquid Magma Totem.
How you can see in this Table Enemies need to be at least 12 Seconds in the LMT without dying.

Conclusion so far:

LMT is only Viable when:

There are at least 6 Enemies, who are alive for at least 12 Seconds. At this Point, LMT is as good as MOTE. Its not better! And we still loose a ton of Singe target DPS.

So we need to Buff LMT. I made another Graph for this calculated with the enemies stay in the LMT for the whole 15 seconds:

If we want LMT to be Viable at 3 Targets who are in the LMT for the whole duration, we need to buff LMT by 95% (!!!). If we want LMT to be viable at 4 Targets (as it is without the Legendary) , we need to buff it by 51%

In many cases enemies aren’t alive for the full duration if we want LMT to be viable at 4 Targets who just life for 10 seconds we need to buff LMT by 101%

The Upper Edge from Buff (for a non rework) is 115%, because if we buff it more as 115% it becomes better as MotE in singe target.

Conclusion:

Liquid Magma Totem is massive underpowered and need to be buffed by at least 51% to make it niche in AOE Situations and by 101% to make it good. The Problem is our Legendary Echoes of the Great Sundering and i dont see a simple Buff fixing this. Maybe its better to rework Liquid Magma Totem for example: If the enemy that the magma is hurled too, has flameshock on it, a second liquid magma is hurled so it becomes stronger with lesser targets.
