I believe we need more quality of life changes. These are some of my suggestions:
-
An option to instantly vendor all junk items on any vendor, and an option in the menu to disable the postmaster from mailing junk items.
-
Improved materials tab. There should be a separate slot for every material in the game, and each should be able to contain up to a stack of one thousand of each mat.
-
An option for raid leader to disable any non-armor/weapon drops inside legacy raids while legacy loot is active.
-
Being able to add any piece of loot from legacy content to the wardrobe on any character regardless of whether the armor or weapons are usable by that character.
yes agree, but can imagine bis gear from playing lol
Solo rated pvp! i would love to see solo queue rbg
I have read your suggestions. But Iām all for it.
Especially in terms of your characterās power progression.
I think BiS should be achievable via Solo Content.
Letās say the lifespan of each major patch is a year, the first 6 months are for the hardcore players that have an exorbitant amount of time to play the game, achievements for Mythic kills, etc, are locked within that time frame as well.
The last 6 months are for Casuals, BiS items are time-gated, they should be able to unlock one or maybe two BiS items during the first 6 months and should be able to unlock them at a much faster pace during the last 6 months of the patch.
Win, Win.
1: torghast is fine is it was purely optional but it isnt and thats why so many people hate it.
There is companions to get in there, pets, legendary grind, quests etc etc.
Also the 6 levels is a pain in the posterior, maybe 2 floors would have been nicer and easier.
Its also massively melee friendly and caster ouchie, like all of wow.
2: just bring a pal, bound to be one somewhere.
3: i really liked archae myself, also would loooooooove a card game a la the witcher card game but people would just make an addon where you afk and the addon plays for you so you can see why blizz dont bother with one.
4: housing is fine, even better if it were account wide (gods i loved the mine/herb garden ⦠didnt have to buy a thing from the AH that entire expansion. Probably too resource goggling for blizz to deal with.
All in all, all these ideas have been in circulation for years and nothing will happen with them as noone really likes rehashed old stuff. We want new ideas, not repainted old stuff
Why not, they could in a European version, gambling is perfectly legal here in all shapes and forms unlike the US.
Worst part is, we kind of used to have āsolo modeā for old content due the fact we actually got stronger when a new xpac came out but this new poopy scaling trashed it and some legion bosses on Mythic can be a real pain unless youāre geared out. And BFA bosses still pose a threat despite being old content, but blizz for some reason disagrees.
Blizz seems to think weāre immortals who live forever to have to wait 4 years from the start of an xpac to begin farming the old content.4 freakin years
No its not for a game that is 12+

A dating service. Youāll get to have a tinder in wow cus why not we even have make love not warcraft.
i find it concerning that the moment you get the rare opportunity to sit down and think, you spend it thinking about this game.
i agree with what you say though as i am also a casual but the problem is casuals are not the target audience anymore.
would you really want to date a wow player?
If we live near each other irl yes. And during a luckdown or as recently we had a huge storm so if that happens again itād be nice with wow dating
maybe spend some time getting to know the personality traits which populate these games before you go trying to be casanova .
most people end up in these games due to some kind of mental trauma or abuse⦠the risk u take dating someone with a history of mental trauma is very bigā¦
i would recommend finding relationship elsewhere with a nice girl/guy/other who can already look after themselves.
it will save a lot of pointless arguments in the future.
this forum alone shows through the types of people who play it ⦠its 90% bickering 10% trolling.
Believe me - I worry about that too! Think it is a form of escapism
Sorry for reviving an oldish thread but I did not want people to think I had just disappeared - as I said in my original post, I was in a hospital car park waiting for my mother. Turns out the fracture was worse than originally thought and I have pretty much had to drop everything to give her more attention. I am not sure how this ended up being a āFind Love in Warcraftā thread, but hey-ho, thats the forums for you!
In regards to gambling, due to the amount of countries that play this version of WoW, as much as I love the idea, I dont think that would ever happen. Unless WoW ups its age rating. It is odd that we cant gamble but can take part in mass slaughter. Probably an American influence - gambling is bad, but you can buy weapons in a supermarket.
Someone mentioned to ābring a palā for solo content. I am thinking about having stuff to do during the downtime between patches, when all your mates are having a break or playing other games. Yes, I KNOW its an MMO, but when there arent multi players to play with, you are left with the RPG and WoW does not have that many of the RPG elements.
Really, all I am hoping is that Blizz do take note that not all of us are aiming for or playing at mythic level.
I know itās stupid. And useless. I do. But I really want a carriage mount.
Some great ideas in the OP.
I would prefer player housing to guild housing. Iām curious how housing would work across alts though. Does each character have their own home with unlocks being account wide? The house I would build for my Night Elf Hunter would be very different compared to my Human Warrior. Or is it a shared home, which could be a cool idea - having a shared home base for all your characters. Both have pros and cons and there are probably other ways of handling it, though I think I would choose housing for each character.
I would love to be able to change character stance/posture for when weapons are sheathed or unsheathed, visible both in game and in the character selection screen.
Brewmaster Monk artifact weapons being over the shoulder is awesome - imagine an Arms Warrior doing that with a huge 2handed weapon, or being able to hold a staff or polearm upright resting its tail-end on the ground.
More account-wide progression. Pretty much all reputations and many currencies like Timewarped Badges and Darkmoon Prize Tickets. Covenant Sanctum progression should be shared as well its anima reserve.
