Guys I was farming in gorgrond with my dudu. I was using a sunfire macro which is /target xxxx /cast sunfire and spamming it with my keyboard. Then suddenly another dudu came (probably mad bcs i’ve stolen his spot) and told me that he was reported me for hacking. He also said I was not in los while killing mobs. Can I get banned for this?
Depends if your Dudu was buttu.
If no buttu then no bana on yer Dudu.

cycles moonfire and sunfire single target but spreads ur sunfire aoe on mouseover casts

no problem, i’ve been rewriting my macros for a decade to suit the new API every time,
i don’t use CVARs
but ive written multiple macros for every class and spec - if u need help im happy to lend a hand

If it’s a macro on a keyboard you used then yes it’s bannable. It’s basic botting.
There is simple investigation done be GM tracking your logs , if he find u ware as examples used 1 macro 24/7 then we banned otherwise no. I play sience launch of wow and never seen unjustified ban so far
Botting would be a programme doing it for him. Spamming a macro is not botting.

Reads like he’s using a keyboard macro not a wow macro.
I use lots of macros when I play wow. I press a key or a button on my mouse and it does stuff in game.
Every class guide has macros it recommends. Even something as simple as catching a flying serpent with a lassoo I had a macro to catch it.
Press keyboard button.
Cast Sunfire repeatedly.
Can I make it any clearer.
WoW macros are fine, programmable keyboard/mouse macros are also fine as long as one key press is one action( so no 1 key press to spam the WoW macro every global)
