Literally every GDKP organizer on my server, big or small, is already preparing to do so from day 1. The bow is even being pre-sold on many of the discord servers, some going for 60k+ (bidding is still going on most servers).
So yeah I bet GDKP will be more common than SR runs or pugs, and every bit as common as guild runs. It looks like it’s the most popular form of pugging. Make it that what you will.
Regardless of your opinion, it’s not going away any time soon.
gdkp hucksters were struggling in t5 prenerf really bad, it wasn’t so piss easy like t6
I doubt any r * ssian or iranian gdkpers would be able to manage it at all

Since wotlk will release in 8 weeks, Berny has to gear up fast.

Actually I bet that’s what a lot would want, for Blizz to implement a system where you pay $$ so 24 bots “run you through content”
Wish Blizzard actually did something about these GDKPs as most of the gold that’s being used in it is 100% bought.

Why would you be stupid enough to spend 60k gold on the Bow when you can get it for free? Facilitating the botting/gold selling industry with raids where you spend masses gold for items that you’d get for free in a raiding guild.

You forgot that in a raiding guild you not only compete with fellow players who share gear type or role, but also the loot system in your guild. For example the glaives from Illidan in a guild that does Loot Council: a rogue who really wants them but is behind 2 warriors in the guild order. He has virtually no chance in getting them so he joins a GDKP to buy em.
Glaives are maybe a bad example since they are legendary and will go for 50k+ sadly. But take the Cursed Vision or the healing mace from Illidan, same story for a priest who knows there are 3 other healers in the guild that have prio.
Ofc there’s no guarantee there either. The item might not drop or someone might outbid you, but if you have a lot of gold the chance is much much higher in winning the item. And if no items drop for you or you don’t win anything you still get around 1k+ for three hours of raiding.
They just should lower the gold cap drastically per account!
