Despite being Alliance, (Draenei) I was able to take the Shattrath portal to Orgrimmar.
I died… Very fast.
Weird right?
Wow, talk about immersion! That’s the way it should be. The portal does not know if you are an alliance or horde 
Do not take the wrong portal. That is my advice.

Nope, was in a group with a night elf.
Definitely night elf, not nightborne. (I double checked XD)
