What is happening to EU servers?
I’m experiencing unplayable latency daily. It starts in the evening, at night it becomes better, but every evening it is 700 + for WoW classic, 1500 for Retail.
Nothing really makes it better. I tried “sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder”, tried to renew DHCP lease, and opened all ports needed on my router.

Same thing me. In the evening the latency will be high (around 200-300) in Classic and Retail and then at night, morning and afternoon everything is ok.
Same goes for me. Every evening at around 9 pm more or less the latency increases to 200-300 and gets back to normal after 2 hours. No issues during the rest of the day.
I don’t know what you guys did, but today WoW works perfectly, low latency all day and in the evening for the first time. Keep it up!

Indeed, today we are back on track. Having 10500 as a world ping and 190 home ping. Blizzard can’t fix their damn servers. Yo maybe you should buy new, or something. This is not a normal situation.
The situation persists as of 29.12.2024
This has been an issue since february of this year approximately, maybe earlier looking ath the forum topics. Its a routing issue caused by blizzards node which they will obviously as per usual refuse to aknowledge or do anything about.
bliz blocking or slowing down some regions. I read this on forum years ago I dont remember when. there is no other explanation for this.

Aaaaaand problem is still here.
I started experiencing it 6 days ago. Everything is perfect in the morning, noon, at night, but in the evening ping just goes wololo and jumps randomly up to 8900ms (highest I ever had) both in Classic and Retail.
I tried to switch from my home internet provider to mobile hot-spot (completely different provider), I tried turning on VPN - nothing helps. And before you ask - yes, I did try to turn off the addons :>

Do a traceroute to the blizzard servers and see which hop has high ping.
Same problem - facing since month. I can manage under 250 ping but above that unplable.

Last night - no problems at all, today - 15k latency worldwide!!!
This is insane, it’s totally unplayable and even vpn doesn’t make any difference in this situation
Yup its the same for me! I tried deleting the WTF etc… reinstalling addons all that stuff, but nope its still 150-300 world ms spiking to 1k. Also random dcs in bgs have been occuring. the duck are we even paying for.

I have the same issue 3 weeks in a row, made a ticket, they suggested to reinstall the game and ask my isp.
The problem is that I’ve already done it, but my isp can’t help either. Those hops where packets are lost are abroad, they can’t change the route as the isp support said.
I have same issue suddenly since last week. I am computer savvy to say the least. Tried everything, its 100% not my pc or ISP fault
I too have this issue. Between 8pm to 10pm (gmt+0) I have unusually high ping

Same sh*t for me, delusional dcs or high ms world, has to be issue on Blizz side bcs I am working fine w everything else. As a PvP player the game is really unplayeble in the evenings, even for PvE.
I returned to wow some days ago and I have this perma input delay that I never had before back in 2023. I tried every single thing to the point I even tried with two different ISPs, two different computers and so on. So the issue is 100% coming from blizzard side. I don’t know if its related to this post but here we are.
