I’m surprised that with Blizzard’s current crusade to remove anything that could in any way be constructed as sexual that ‘Squirt’ has not been changed.

Squirt can be completed in a very short amount of time, on average 2-3 minutes.

Okay okay. Quit bragging Wowhead.

Surely “Super Fruit Day” would be less offensive.

I think Squirt is even better today as its the pet battle bonus week.

It’s old fashioned British slang (1930s/60s I guess) for a child, specially the youngest/smallest of a family. They were called squirt instead of their own name.
But they may well change it because they never check with British English speakers. I’m still fuming about damsel and consort.

I was being facetious to be honest. If you start removing words because they have an alternative meaning or slang associated to them, then there will not be that many words left. Mages have ‘Tinder’ talent (or did) for example.

And yes Squirt is a (usually endearing) term for a small child here in Blighty. It was also used in Finding Nemo

I realise that, but American English and the Queen’s English are two different things. Take a 7 letter profanity starting with B for example - it can mean a sword length in between a shortsword and a longsword or a person with questionable parentage.
