I think Squirt is even better today as its the pet battle bonus week.
Itâs old fashioned British slang (1930s/60s I guess) for a child, specially the youngest/smallest of a family. They were called squirt instead of their own name.
But they may well change it because they never check with British English speakers. Iâm still fuming about damsel and consort.

I was being facetious to be honest. If you start removing words because they have an alternative meaning or slang associated to them, then there will not be that many words left. Mages have âTinderâ talent (or did) for example.
And yes Squirt is a (usually endearing) term for a small child here in Blighty. It was also used in Finding Nemo

I realise that, but American English and the Queenâs English are two different things. Take a 7 letter profanity starting with B for example - it can mean a sword length in between a shortsword and a longsword or a person with questionable parentage.
