I sware im losing my mind.WHERE DID YOU GET THAT chart from the post i asked you.Stop switching/evading questions.Link for the chart you posted, pls?!
You said its WoW,but then its not WoW’s chart, but its dota2 chart, oke its dota 2 chart, but from where,or at least give me a link for the site so i can chek the WoW stats.
From the chart those are worldwide dota2 players at all time.It shouldnt be a shock dota2 is popular that’s no supprise. And i dont see here nothing bad.
As Sholah said, those two connections you made Ave have nothing in comman. If anything for a 15 year old game its doing great, also the WoW Classic and probably the legacy project with TBC/Wrath will revieve and only bring more value to the company.
And i sware some of those conections is like reading/listening one of Pyromancers theories about WoW’s lore.
Make no mistake i do think BFA is the worst expansion in my eyes too.The game is built on insta gratification rewards and people susceptible to gambling addictions you see in slot machine users.Cause blizzard saw that people dont play anymore with guilds and groups, but they lone wolf the game,so they want to desing the game around that, and extend play time+mau.
But on the serious note. I am not even “whiteknighting” or anything. But more of a question of motivations. “So WoW is dead. The end is near. The apocalypse is upon us”. Now what should we do? Should we start digging our underground bunkers? Should we become depressed emo boys and girls?
when wow dies theres nothing we can do except hope that blizzard will wake up and leave activision just like bungie did. But with all the original founders leaving and onley 1 original founder still working at blizzard… there is not that much hope
I think WoW is doing pretty great, considering majority of their income is from subscriptions. You have to take into account that quite many players pay the 6 months subscription twice / year and of course, that does not show in every month earning charts.
In june, there was 8.2 release which naturally increases subscription income, but they also had a new 6 months subs with a mount that quite many players did buy. That spike will not show in the earnings charts for the next 6 months and I am not surprised if WoW is not in top 10 in July. August on the other hand… There is a Classic release and it should give another boost for a while
