personally, I would watch a YouTube video of the first gameplay since streamers should be ahead of the game. streamers are only good for entertainment and to see how they play your favourite game.

I don’t have the mount, so your point falls flat.
Yeah personally might not have seen many, but that is anecdotal at best, bad faith at worst.
They don’t care if you’re watching it. You’re still adding to their viewer count and pushing their game to the top which attracts actual viewers.

There is no achievement to owning them. It’s luck, pay lots of money IRL, buy lots of gold IRL or grind lots of gold.

I think if you already have Prime you can do this for free, I don’t have Prime nor do I care about missing out on the pet. I didn’t bother last time either but I’m more than happy to take the mount.
I don’t necessarily agree with your analogy of streamers tho.

I see your point. However, the TCG mounts always were nothing more than “fuel for their marketing machine” in lootbox form designed to make more people buy decks. So from that perspective, I find them being a Twitch giveaway to be entirely fitting.
Now, if they offerred recolours obtainable with some epic questlines, that I would love to see!

Wanted this mount for the longest time, but not so much I’d pay an arm and a leg for it, or get sucked into the lootboxes that are the TCG decks.
Really happy with this overall move to strip real-money value from the TGC mounts and take some market power away from resellers!
